Roger Williams is the Senior Pastor at New City Church in Indianapolis and an Ecclesial Professor of Practical Theology at Indianapolis Theological Seminary. He graduated from Western Illinois University and obtained his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. Before starting New City Church, he served as an Assistant Pastor at Christ Community Church (PCA) in Carmel, IN for five years. He also teaches Practical Theology (spiritual formation and preaching) at Indianapolis Theological Seminary.

Carmen Williams has worked alongside Roger in pastoral ministry and church planting and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Truman State University. She has held administrative roles at New City Church, Young Life, and Parakaleo, and currently works full-time as a Compliance Analyst at Community Health Network. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, going on dates with her husband, spending time with friends and family, and being active outdoors. She also loves spending time in nature, connecting with women over coffee and long walks, and reading books about health, nutrition, and Jesus.

Roger and Carmen have been married for 29 years and have five kids, three of whom are married. They also have two grandchildren and two more on the way, and they are becoming empty-nesters, as their son Joshua graduated from Covenant in May 2024.
