A Different Language and a Different Lens: Joe Meyer, Leader in Healthcare

Joe Meyer serves as the chair of the board of trustees at The Oaks Academy and has been a board member since 2017. He worked for Indiana University Health for nine years, most recently as senior vice president of System Operations. While there, he led diverse teams supporting clinical care, including supply chain, lab services, public safety, and support services. He was on the senior IU Health team that responded to the Covid-19 pandemic crisis. Earlier in his career, he served in executive roles at Eli Lilly and Roche Diagnostics.

Joe graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Finance and Economics and from Northwestern University with an MBA in Strategy and Marketing.

He also serves as a volunteer with various organizations, including the Notre Dame Club of Indianapolis, Friends of Honduran Children, and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
