Dr. Andy Goodwin
Dr. Jim Drexler is the Dean of the Graduate School of Education at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA. He attended Covenant from 1975 to 1979 and worked in admissions from 1979 to 1981. He has been on faculty at Covenant for 21 years. All four of his children graduated from Covenant. His wife, Sara (Belz), graduated from Covenant in 1978 and, like Jim, has had a career in education.
Dr. Drexler has earned several degrees:
- B.A. Covenant College
- M.Div. Covenant Theological Seminary
- M.Ed. University of Missouri
- Ph.D. Saint Louis University
His specialization is in educational leadership, and he has extensively written and published on that topic, as well as on Christian education.
He loves history, coffee, and Italian food. His hobbies include gardening and golf.
